Has anyone here encountered having rusty screws in iphone 13 Pro? Yesterday, I went to the Apple store in Singapore for repair as my iphone 13 Pro has a white screen. I was informed that the screws are rusty and Apple store cannot repair for me. The manager asked me to go to external vendor to remove the rusty screws. If the screws can be removed, Apple will repair the white screen issue for me.

Was this truly an official Apple Store? I have never ever heard of anybody officially representing Apple tell a person to go to a third party service. Make sure you are taking this to an official Apple place. Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple
They might. If an Apple Genius observes external damage, such as rusted screws, service might be refused. Apple would be liable for the item if it was taken in for repair and then damaged the device.
If the Genius broke the rusted screws and entry into iPhone was not possible. The store would have to replace the iPhone.
