Just recently after the last update my iPhone 14 Pro Max doesn’t shutter click when I take photos. The video beeps but for regular still photos no shutter click. Cannot figure out how to resolve.
Did you accidentally mute the sounds on your iPhone? Swipe down Control Center and switch Mute button off. If it is off, momentarily switch on, and then off again.
Do you have Live Photos enabled? That will possibly turn of shutter sound.

Not really helpful. No I didn’t do a backup prior to update. And yes it could be a coincidence but I’ve checked all my settings and that’s not the issue as far as I can tell.
Nope. The video makes sound but the camera doesn’t. There’s no mute in the control center. Switch on side is not on mute.
