Yes, if you tap or click on any links in messages that claim that your iPhone is infected with viruses, or all your photos will disappear and download any software that the scammers are hoping you will install.
Being hacked on facebook or TikTok has absolutely nothing to do with your device. People’s accounts are hacked on social media because they post intimate details of their lives, and expect it to be private. It isn’t.
