These days, criminals are more likely to target you than to target your phone or computer itself.


One of the means criminals use to do this is to exploit people's fear of things like viruses and being "hacked". Anyone can send you a message claiming that you have viruses or have been "hacked", and providing a "tech support number" to call for "help" (actually, a number belonging to criminals who need your help to get all the information they need to rip you off).
