iMobile app installation issue on iPhone 16 Pro Max with iOS 18.2

I have recently changed over from Iphone 12 Pro Max to Iphone 16 Pro Max (dual E Sim) model and tried to download ICICI I Mobile Pay App. The download happens flawlessly and when entering MPIN, an error code of FS-1522 crops up and does not get installed.


ICICI Customer Care has been intereacted several time and all the efforts in getting their response fail as their technical team does not bother to call customer for first hand experience of not able to install Imobile App on Iphone 16 Pro Max with ios 18.2 (latest).


Raised complaint with ICICI grievance redressal forum and still waiting for their sweet experience in redressal. Any one facing similar issue or able to over come this, pls share.

Pls download iMobile pay app from AppStore. Click get started and sms verification happens. Post that it will ask to enter MPIN to proceed. Here pls click forgot option. Then the next screen will ask to enter Cvv of credit card and with that the App gets installed. Post that you can click change mpin and it happens effortlessly.👍

It looks like you received an error message from ICICI Bank indicating a mismatch between the user ID you entered and the user ID linked to your mobile number.

  1. Ensure that you have entered the correct user ID associated with your ICICI Bank account.
  2. Make sure that the mobile number you are using is the one linked to your ICICI Bank account.

Thanks for the update. Any way out for this ? By updating regular update as and when rolled out or should go in for beta updates. What is solution/resolution from Icici bank tech team. Have they updated their app with patch or have escalated to apple tech team is totally dark. Pls update if any developments are there in this case🙏🙏👍👍
