Apple Watch 10 Oxygen Sensor Functionality in Europe

Hello im from EU and i will travel to the USA and I plan to buy an apple watch 10 but now i am not sure if the oxigen sensor will work when i bring it back to europe as in the USA is dissabled

No. The U.S. Apple Watch has a unique model number, different from Apple Watches sold outside the U.S. watchOS will look at the model and number and REFUSE to enable the Oxygen sensor.


If you want the Oxygen sensor DO NOT buy the Apple Watch in the U.S. until either the court case is resolved in Apple's favor, or the patent expires in August 2028.
