How do I receive audible message notifications on both Apple Watch 6 and iPhone when locked?

I have specific ringtones and text sounds set up for several contacts. The Apple Watch generates a generic sound and is sometimes too quiet and a vibration that is too subtle, I have a hearing loss and don’t always wear my hearing aids. I rely on some of the louder ringtones and sounds that the iPhone produces that are within my range of hearing.
