I recently broke my phone screen and brought it in for repair and when I got it back with a new replacement screen, the animations when I'm scrolling or swiping are a lot more choppy than before. The only thing that I got replaced was the phone screen and I am wondering if there is any way to fix this issue.

Who replaced the screen on your iPhone? If not Apple or an actual Apple Authorized Service Provider, you don't have an authentic screen on your phone. And if this is what you did, take it back to whoever changed the screen. Apple won't touch a phone with non-authentic parts in it. If it was Apple, take it back to them.

OK, but you get what you pay for. You don't have an authentic screen on your iPhone. Apple won't touch it. We can't help you. You'll likely have to just live with the lagging animations.
Also, the phone won't qualify for a trade in with Apple. When the day comes you want to sell the phone, you need to adjust its price lower than comparable models and disclose to any buyer it doesn't have an authentic Apple Screen on it.
