How long does iPhone SE 2020 get iOS updates?

This is a user to user only forum. Since we aren't Apple and Apple hasn't said anything about how many years your iPhone will get updates, we can only give you generalities. Typically, Apple updates their iPhones for 5 - 6 years. If we look at iPhone Xr, which was released in 2018. That was 6 years ago and it was eligible this year for iOS 18. Whether it will get iOS 19, when it is released next year, we wouldn't know. But it is nice to see that model has gotten updates for the last 6 years.

The SE 2020 was discontinued in March 2022, so you might see security updates until 2027 It's all up to what Apple decides.

Updates are based more on when a given iPhone model is discontinued....not whether they might currently have the latest iOS.
