iPhone 13pro models have different sizes of protective camera glass?

My iPhone 13pro midnight got a crack on the lower back camera so I ordered the replacement which came new but it was 3mm smaller. I ordered another one- same issue. They all are 12mm diameter, but my camera has a 14.5-15mm diameter. First I thought it was some misunderstanding and the protective glasses were not for iPhone 13pro. But then I checked my wife’s iPhone 13pro white - her back lenses are 12mm indeed. So what is going on? How can this be? Attaching photos of my back camera (1st image) and hers (2nd image).

Can someone suggest how this is possible? And how would I get this glass replacement now?

Go to Settings > General > About. Do this on your phone & your wife's. What model name does it show for both phones?

Also look at the model numbers on the phones, are they the same?

This is a very wild guess but if they are the same model but different model numbers, perhaps the lenses are different for iPhone 13pro sold in different parts of the world.

So, Apple builds iPhones with a protective cover built in. Did you put a third party protective cover over the Apple protective cover?

Is one kit just the glass and the other kit the glass with the metal bezel ring? If so, the one with the bezel will of course be larger in diameter.

Whoever your ordering from is sending you the wrong ones.

It would be best to have Apple repair it.

Ok, good luck. As I said in my first post, whoever you are buying the replacement parts from is selling you the wrong ones. Maybe try a different seller.

It would be the best if you are located in civilized location. The nearest Apple representative is 120 km away from me, and the whole thing will require me leaving the phone for several days. Not all countries are that developed, so it is definitely not the best option. The question now is not about "HOW TO FIX", but about the sizes of the camera protective glass.

Yes, me and my wife we both bought iPhones 13pro from official phone and network company Tele2. Both on the same month, both have different sizes of the protective glass, and since my other friends has 12mm too, I assume that the unusual one is mine - 14.5mm.

I have no idea what Apple does, but I did not add anything on top of that. I did not even study the back of my cameras until one glass got cracked, which happened recently. The difference is 3mm and I have no idea how to even logically explain this.

But the 12mm replacement kit fits perfectly my wife's iPhone 13 pro by the size. This is exactly what my question is about- how come she has 12mm diameter and I have 14.5mm?

My Phone:

Nothing different on my wife's phone, except the Serial number and amount of videos and photos. Also, her model is MLVF3ET/A.
