Adobe Illustrator Shortcuts NOT working on Mini Mac Pro M4 Sequoia OS
The standard shortcuts in Adobe Illustrator (as well as other Adobe products) are not consistently working. For example, the shortcut for a rectangle is M, but it doesn't work. The up/down arrows don't change the number of sides of a polygon when drawing. The spacebare doesn't move an object when drawing. The programs were downloaded from Creative Cloud FOR MAC. Adobe has provided no help. I have gone through the shortcuts for conflicts. I have closed ALL other programs (except Finder) while using Illustrator. Maybe I'm not fixing the shortcuts conflicts correctly, but I shut off the up down arrows for Mission Control. I can't find another Mac shortcut for the spacebar function. The whole point of changing from a PC to a Mac was to have a better experience with Adobe products (which I asked about before the purchase and was assured by Apple that they would work on the Mac Minin). But unless I can fix this keyboard shortcut thing, I guess I'll shut down the Mac and just continue to use a PC. Really disappointing, hope someone can help. I'm using the Magic Mouse and Keyboard and two BenQ monitors. Thanks in advance for your help!
