How to fix the Apple Media Services Login loop on MacBook Pro

I bought a new MacBook Pro. A window asking me to login to continue using Apple Media Services keeps showing up. I try to login and it asks me to review it, then goes back to the window asking me to login to continue using Apple Media Services. I click on cancel, but it pops right back up. It will not go away! I have to drag it to the bottom of the screen to use my Mac. I am logged into my account and tried to cancel this subscription but I don't have one to cancel. Any way to disable this or find out how I can get rid of this?

Update to current macOS if you can, and try again.

Then (or if you can’t get out of that confirmation prompt) try a restart through Safe Mode, next: Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support Update macOS there, too.

Then, are there any “coffee shop” VPN apps, or add-on security apps here? If so, remove all of those per the vendors’ instructions, restart, and test again.
