should i replace my iphone battery?

i’ve been been having an iphone 12 pro max for a few years and i’ve been experiencing my battery draining really fast and overheating, i checked my battery health and my iphone said my battery can be replaced by an “apple authorized service provider”. im scared on asking my parents on replacing my phone battery, how long its going to take for my phone battery to be replaced, and if it’s really worth it. if anyone can help me out please reply to this! D:

You should have replaced the battery about 6-8 months ago when it was down to 80% Maximum Capacity


Make an appointment to replace the battery at the Apple Store or an authorized Apple service shop. The service will normally take about a hour. Might be less if the shop is not that busy.


You can find a list of authorized shops in your area using this link: Find Locations


About $90 (U.S.). Your phone will perform like it did when it was new with a new battery.
