Unauthorized Apple gift card redemption

I purchased Apple f

giftcard to the value of $1500 at Apple Store in George St Sydney. I sent it to my daughter via whatsApp

.when she tried to redeemed it half an hour later. She said it's been redeemed. I went back to the store and they said it's been depleted. They advised to ask assistance from Apple Support but they were not able to help. All they can say is that it's been redeemed 23 mins after purchased. It's been escalated twice and their response still the same.

My sincere sympathies for the problem, but no one here works for Apple except for the forum moderators and they have no power to intervene, so there's nothing anyone of us in these forums can do to help with this. If Apple has refused any further resolution, then absent contacting any Australian consumer rights office and asking for assistance, there's little or nothing else you can do.
