Controls not available - in apple tv or HomePod

I can't control my TV or HomePod when I'm away from my home.

I don't understand why.

If I'm at home everything is fine and I have control over the devices but when I'm away from home I get a notification:

״Controls not available״.

Apple TV 4K Box and HomePod Mini connection issues I recently purchased two HomePod minis and connected them to my Apple TV 4K box. I have paired the speakers together so that I could create surround sound for my TV.. When I turn on my Apple TV, I get a message saying that is unable to connect to them yet sound is heard through the speakers. A few minutes later, the speakers disconnect and sound revert back to the TV. I have tried resetting my box. I have tried removing the speakers and sending them back up again, but nothing seems to resolve this fault. Is this a no problem with HomePod mini when paired in this way? I do have a HomePod generation one in another room which I've also tried to connect separately which did do the same thing so I'm wondering if it's my Apple TV box?

One homepod shuts off when it looks like im sleeping Hi. So I’ve noticed the last two night that when I go to sleep with the Apple TV on the HomePod that’s closest to my head turns off and the HomePod furtherest from me projects the sound away from me if that makes sense. This is extremely annoying as it sounds like someone is in my room. I have no idea what or where the settings are to stop this. I also want to know how is it monitoring that I’m not paying attention anymore. I don’t like the idea that somehow I’m being watched. My TV is 4K 2nd Gen and HomePod 2 in stereo. All have the 16.5. HomePods just updated to 16.6 as I’m writing this. thanks.

Controls are intended to work while both devices connect to the same home network. It is not supposed to be available when you’re away.

So how can I turn off the HomePod or TV if I'm not on the same network? It's strange because I have a Raspberry Pi that I control all the devices in the house that I'm away from. Only the Apple devices are not possible and I didn't figure out why
