Private Relay not supported on iPhone 13 Pro in South Africa

My iCloud+ on IPhone 13 Pro is saying that Private Relay is not supported.

Why is this and what can I do about it please?

I am located in South Africa.

iCloud private relay not working - SOLVED A number of people are unable to use the iCloud private relay AND have not received a good response We get an error message “iCloud private relay not compatible…” i found the reason it’s due to certain carriers blocking it. The reasoning is unfortunate but logical. The following article explains it.
