Can buy a Macbook Pro nano-texture display in store, or do I need to order it online.

I'm visiting US and wanna buy a Macbook pro 14 with nano-texture display. Do I need to order it online in advance, or can I just go to the store and they would have it in stock?

Contact the store from whom you wish to purchase and ask. They're the only ones who can give you information about their stock. You'll also want to confirm that they can accept an out-of-the-US payment method, which I presume is what you'll have. They may well not be able to.

Or you can order on line and schedule a pickup at the Apple Store, but again, confirm your payment method.

Regards.

There is no central warehouse that holds Macs, ready for delivery.

The general rule is that NOTHING is 'in stock' in stores.

Everything, especially unusual or expensive items, is built to your order in a factory in the Far East and delivered as quickly as possible directly to you or to a store for your pickup.

Extremely rarely, when you go to place an order, you discover that the lead-time in NOT the expected around two or three weeks, but the delivery for your exact item is very short, such as next-day. This is because certain high-demand items might have been pre-ordered to have a few available to support multiple stores in a large metropolitan area. Exactly where these are stocked is unknowable, and probably random.

Remember that the prices shown in the online store in the US are withOUT the mandatory, non-refundable State Sales Tax, which will be added to your invoice and must be paid when you pay your invoice.

in New York City, the total local taxes including State and City taxes are 8.875 percent of the cost of the goods.

Also, the duty charged when you re-enter your home country may vary. A brand new-in-box MacBook Pro will pay the full cost. A running personal computer you are carrying with you may pay substantially less, or even nothing.
