I sold my apple watch and the new owner is trying to set it up but the watch keep asking for my apple account credentials. I unpaired the apple watch from my iphone and tried removing it from iCloud but on my iCloud account there is no such device available. Can someone help me?

As the new owner now has the watch and you say you can't find it in iCloud then check out the iphone Find My app for the watch to remove it.
You may have to have the watch returned to complete the action, but do NOT give your credentials to the buyer in case it is a phishing attempt.
