How can I get a replacement for my Belkin screen protector purchased from the Apple Store?

I purchased a Belkin screen protector at the store for my new iPhone 16. Unfortunately, the screen cracked but according to Apple I was to contact Belkin, have the replacement shipped to me and bring it into the apple store for their machine to replace it. Belkin now says they are out of stock of the machine applied screen protector's and only have the ones you apply yourself. Contacted apple support which was a bust, claim it's Belkin's problem not Apple's. Anyone else have this issue? Seems like Apple has plenty of stock in-store to get you to purchase them but then your are on your own.

I too purchase a machine applied Belkin screen protector that cracked when I dropped the phone. First they needed for me to send a sales receipt, then they said they were out of stock, then they wanted so send me a self applied screen protector and said if I accepted, that would satisfy the warranty.

Something is very suspicious here. First the runaround, then the “out of stock” statement, then the bait and switch. If enough people experience this we may each want to contact our state attorney general’s office and file a complaint. This is truly unbelievable. i thought Belkin was a reputable company, but who knows, maybe they’ve changed - starting to look that way!
