Apple/iCloud account inactivated; Unable to log out on iPad?

Hi,

A few weeks ago, without any reason given as to "Why?" - my Apple Account was disabled / Inactivated, not possible to re-activate when asking support, calling both domestic and International such help desk. Annoying enough I now have a new working account on my MacBook (M1) and iPhone 8. However, also connected and sing my account is my daughters iPad, bought second hand and gifted to her by a cousin not living here in Sweden (thus, trying to retrieve some kind of receipt is out of the question I´m afraid).

The iPad is having annoying pop-ups reminding "her" to verify the account with a password, but can be "Canceled" fortunately, still pops up a few times a day..Now trying to change connected account on the device (not sure about the iPads exact model..Has a "click" home button..) - it prompts me to enter the password associated with the, now inactivated and connected account, which when doing so then gives error: "The account is inactive...contact support" (or something similar along those lines).

Same issue or error is presented when trying to log out on her iPad and doing so again asked to enter related password. Doing to, entering the password, which I know is the correct one for the now inactivated account. Leaving me or us in a situation where the device is very limited ofc (The prompts poppig up is annoying enough but also not able to use "app store", update anything etc. Issues this community surely must be very aware of presented using an iOS device, without a working Apple - or iCloud Account (Not sure which is the correct name now..).

When realizing this issue I once again contacted domestic Swedish Apple Support for help, but was told nothing could be done except visiting a verified store with the iPad and a receipt - which like mentioned earlier I do not have, nor can get get access to or even existing as far as anyone knows. (A receipt btw, I do not see how helpful it could be since, as a electronic device bought in a second hand store, the receipt will be nothing more the a piece of paper with possibly the stores name and number, date, amount, payment method, price, product name, like "iPad" but lacking anything like Serial #, Model number or other unique identifying numbers, but rather very simplified in my experience!).

Guided by support I tried loggin out from the "Media and Payments" sub-menu, as a temporary or partially helpful solution, but still without luck, getting the same error.

*As a first time writer in this forum I apologize in advance if any needed/relevant information needed to figure out a possible solution, is missing! But will gladly provide such information if I just know whats needed!

(And in the same spirit I want to say that I searched for similar issues, related solution or answer but could not find any doing so..Will delete the post if I have missed any helpful available article or forum topic!)

Any help would be Much appreciated!

Regards,

Jocke

Unfortunately with no access to the account and no official receipt from Apple there is nothing you can do.

According to various posts, Apple may permanently lock accounts for various reasons (very broadly outlined in section VII-B of Legal - iCloud - Apple ). If it isn’t apparent, contact Apple and ask if that is the situation, but don’t expect them to tell you why. You, or somebody who has managed to get access to your account, are likely doing something Apple is detecting as account misuse. You will have to see if your activities could be construed—rightly or wrongly—as meeting any of Apple's conditions in the support article. You will need to create a new account and stop doing things the way you have been that may have caused the other account to be locked. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about your equipment without the kind of ownership proof Apple is requiring. It will have to be recycled.
