iPhone 15 Pro Max identifying as a VOIP number

Would appreciate a reply from Apple regarding whether this is a problem that they are aware of

Since upgrading phone to iOS 18, I have had difficulty with some websites

identifying it as a VOIP phone when I have AT&T cellular service.

The number was originally a VOIP numbers, but was ported over 10 years

ago. Why is the issue showing up now and how do I fix it? Appreciate any

help - am pulling my hair out.

Most communications are VoIP in recent years, including typical iPhone voice communications.

That’s what VoLTE is, for instance. Voice over LTE, which is Voice over IP Multimedia.

As for why VoIP is showing as VoIP and not being properly faked as something else, that is a question for your carrier.
