Authorize Computer is not showing up in Apple TV

I have been trying to download previous purchases on my new Mac but the option is not available under Account. I have tried signing out and signing back in but it does not show it. Please help because I cannot continue without this.

Authorising mac for Apple TV purchases I’ve been trying to make a purchase on my MacBook Pro of a movie on Apple TV, but I keep getting hit with a pop up saying “this computer is not authorised”. It’s instructing me to authorise in the account menu but where’s the account menu? At a loss currently

Unauthorized to download movies on Apple TV My Mac is signed into my apple account and I can view my purchased movies on Apple TV, but when I try to download them, it says I am not authorized. There is no option through the Apple TV app to add an authorization of this computer. How do I do it?
