Apple TV Promotional Code Received in Email Cannot be Redeemed

Dear Team,

I purchased Apple TV India for Rs 99 per Month basis on 26th Nov 2024, and then later I got an email stating the below:

"Get 2 months of Apple TV+ free with your gift card. 2 months free, then ₹ 99.00/month until cancelled. Redeem by 13 January 2025 to get your content bonus. Valid only with your Apple Account and must be redeemed on an iOS device."

Today 1st Jan 2024, trying to redeem the code.

When I click on Get 2 Month Free on Gmail Android it says - 404 Not Found Error on the next page.

I tried it with my iPad Mini 1 - it just opened the Apple Store page and nothing else, just white blank page.

I went to Apple TV App on Windows and Apple TV Website from windows pc and tried redeeming the code Y7Y**TNW47** found on the email, but again on both, it will first say enter code, then say your getting 2 months free apple tv till March 1st and then after confirming it will say I am not eligible for the code.

I don't understand what's happening?

Please help in redeeming this promotional code for 2 months.

What OS version is that iPad running? It may be too old? iPad mini 1 from 2012 can run iOS 6.0–9.3.6, while Apple TV+ (Apple TV app) requires iOS 10.2 or later/iPadOS 13.1 or later.
The Apple device may need to be registered with the Apple Account for whom this offer is. It may not work on someone else’s Apple device, or with an account that differs from what you currently use.
See if this offer states terms and conditions. Offers are usually for new subscribers only. If the T&C doesn’t state that requirement, then it is presumed open to current and previous subscribers too.

For further inquiry, please contact the Apple Support staff. They may know more about (minimum) (system) requirements to redeem this offer.

I am not seeing this offer listed as you describe it on Apple’s site for India. Current offers - Apple (IN)
