Unable to Update CapCut due to Locked permissions

I need to update my Capcut app on my new MacBook Pro and am unable to since it's showing as locked. I am the admin of the device, but I am unable to unlock this. Anyone ever experienced this?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.1

I had the same issue. I opened the Applications folder and deleted the old version (4.8), then installed the new version (5.1.3).


It worked!
