Lost notes due to iCloud sync

I recently sync’d my new iPad with my iCloud account. The Notes that I made offline disappeared when I sync’d with iCloud. I can’t find them and did not delete them. Is there a hidden cache somewhere I can recover from?

Notes disappeared from iCloud after update to 18.11 I have LOST over a year’s worth of notes in certain notes but not in others after recent update to 18.11. They are NOT in ICloud, not on my phone, iPad, or IMac either. Have been backing up and synching religiously and agreed to the new terms. My most important notes are gone. iPhone Notes Disappeared I lost all my iPhone notes. I see lots of people had the same issue so I thought I’d share how I got them back. I phoned Apple support (got straight through on a Sunday, amazeballs) and the dude checked my Notes were synced to iCloud (they were TF), and turned my sync off and on again and voila they reappeared. Took a bit of screen sharing but it totally worked. Still don’t have a Recently Deleted folder but who cares?

Disappeared notes Hello I stopped synching my notes to I cloud as I didn’t want back up. But suddenly all my 150 plus notes disappeared from my phone and from my I cloud account. What can I do to retrieve them. There is no recently deleted folder in my I could account.

You may simply need to reenable the "On My Phone" account option in Settings > Apps > Notes:
