If you look under the album title on your iPod, is there one list containing all the songs on that album, or is each song listed as a separate album?
Also, have you looked under any of the other music menus, such as Songs? If you play a track in one of those menus, does the player move the the next track or does it play the next song?
One more thing to check, this time in your iTunes Library:
- select a song in your library, any song
- highlight the song and either:
- on iTunes' top bar menu, tap the Edit button and then choose Song Info option from the sub menu
- right-click in the blue area of the highlighted song and choose Song Info from the menu that appears when you right-click
- (this opens up the Details tab for that song.)
- Tap the Options tab
- check to see whether the Skip when shuffling option is "on" (if it is on,, there will be a tick - or checkmark in the box
- if the option to skip when shuffling is on, check more of your songs. If they are all set that way, it suggests that you have your player on the iPod in Shuffle mode, which would explain why the player stops after one song. If this is the case, let us know and we can offer a fix that will turn the option off for all songs in just a couple of steps (i.e. you won't have to do each song, one at a time)
If the shuffle is the issue, a temporary fix is to turn shuffle off on the iPod. Does that fix it (temporarily) and does the player continue onto another song?
