My iPhone 13 Pro show 60fps when 13 Pro has a 120fps display

I bought a Refurbished iPhone 13 Pro and the screen only goes to 60hz, i tried Testufo.com and it says 120fps but it seems exactly the same as the 60fps (tested with 240fps slow motion video), i also tried scrolling next to a 90hz phone, and the 90hz is waaay smoother. I have limit frame rate off and Low power mode off. Could the screen have been replaced with a fake one? idk cause i have the true tone and auto brightness features

Hi,

Have you tried looking at the limit frame rate setting in accessibility? Try:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Accessibility
  3. Select Motion
  4. Find the "Limit Frame Rate" toggle and turn it off

Let me know if it works!

The ProMotion feature on that phone means that apps can render content at a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz – not that they must, or should, always do so. Apple's documentation also says that an app "can't force a ProMotion display to show content at any particular frame rate."
