I have an Apple IPhone and on the Lock Screen there is what appears to be a location icon on my lockout screen and I would like to know either how to get rid of it or to fix it.

Is it a location arrow (pointing to the right) or a straight up arrow? If it points to the right that means there is an app using Location Services, and the only way to get rid of it is to turn off Location Services, which is not recommended.
If it points straight up it is a shortcut to some app. What happens when you tap on it?
