I have had both a caldigit and dell dock for my mac m3 pro and both disconnect randomly. Not sure what the issue is but I have to unplug and plug in the dock for it to re-register all peripherals attached.
Anyone else have this issue?

Are these Docks plugged in at the same time— it is not clear from your brief (?)
I would certainly limit this to one Dock if that is the case and compare your results.
For M-series Mac you can try a SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support to sort anomalies

I have been experiencing the same disconnect issue but with a Kensington SD5780T Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station. I have kept up with updates including the latest yesterday Sequoia 15.3.1. I have also tried 3 proper 40 Gbps cables. Nothing has changed. The disconnects continue to occur. Mostly after display sleeps.
They are separate. I was just swapping between the two to see if one worked better.
