When trying to share location it says “No Active device”

I tried sharing my location and every time I do it say that, I have looked up many methods to fix this issue none have worked so far

iPhone 12, iOS 18

My guess is that some permission is not enabled correctly with your location services. I have also seen this issue with some content resections settings is turned on.


Try signing out of your Apple account and signing back in.

Making sure your location services are on

Try toggling off "find my" and then restarting your device.

I have also seen people resetting the network settings resolve the issue.
