Keyboard cover to protect the screen when a MacBook Pro is closed

For a MacBook Pro 14" M4, is it helpful to have a keyboard cover to keep the keys from impacting the screen when the top of the MacBook is is closed (not to protect the keyboard but to protect the screen)? If so, what material is best and how thin should it be? Is there a specific recommendation? Does Apple sell any such covers to protect the screen when the MacBook Pro top is closed?

It is recommended to place nothing between the screen and the keyboard.

The space of the gap between the two is tight and to do so invites damage to either or both the kbd and screen.

It's just a thing you'll have to live with.
