Tracking shared album invitations on iPhone

i came late to shared albums. i think they are a brilliant way to sort my photos and pass them down to future generations.

i seem to be having trouble keeping track of those that i invite. i've been adding names under the people button (circle with a person on it) at the top of the page. they start out with a "?" mark and i'm surmising they are supposed to change to a "✓" when the invitee accepts the invitation. so far, out of 10 people, only 1 has changed to a "✓". i've confirmed by email that others have accepted but the name still shows a "?".

i was unaware until just yesterday that there are daily & hourly limits on how many photos i can share and may have over-invited at the beginning.

should i be removing all the ones with "?'s" and re-invite them while observing the daily and hourly limits?
