Retrieve disappeared text on my iPhone 15 Pro Max

I composed a text, decided I might email so copied and pasted into my email.. I then decided to edit and paste it back to a text - edited a bit and added to it.. hit send and it disappeared so I can no longer view the text.. Is there anyway to retrieve this?
