A couple of things first:

  • The movies are still in Apple's Australian servers if you didn't download them. If you did download them, then they're also on whatever storage device you used for the download.
  • You can't just put the movies on an external drive and then connect that drive to a TV and have them play. Playback of any movie purchased from Apple can only be done from a device that runs Apple's apps. Some current smart TVs have licensed those apps from Apple, but not a 20-year-old TV. You'd have to connect your Mac or your iPad to the TV to play the movies (whether in the cloud or downloaded).

As to your request, Apple does not provide support via email. If you wish to ask for a refund, you can do so here:

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple – Apple Support (AU)

but they are highly unlikely to grant one, not if they're working correctly in Australia, though you can try. Sales and rentals from any given country's store are be terms of the license provided by the content owners specific to that region and may not be accessible from outside of that country.

Regards.

Exactly what your situation is I'm not certain about. Media purchases from Apple are by requirements of the licenses country-specific. If you purchased them from the Australian store and now are living in Japan and have changed your region on your device, then these will no longer be accessible to you.

If you mean that you're just traveling and want to play movies that you didn't download, that won't be possible without an Internet connection of some sort.

Perhaps if you post more details about your situation and what's going on, someone here (who BTW are all fellow users) may be able to offer suggestions.

I purchased 20 iTunes movies from iTunes Store in australia

all these movies are somewhere on iCloud - God knows where they are?!?!

I don’t have physical movies on my hands

problems began at home in australia when I wanted to watch these movies on my Sony Bravia TV

AT THE MOMENT they are accessible on my IMAC and my IPAD and my SPPLE TV back home in australia!!!

butnow I m travelling in japan and I want to watch these movies thru internet WIFI HERE IN JAPAN

However every attempt to access them has failed!!

coming back home - if I want to watch these movies on my large SONY BRAVIA TV ( this set is 20 years old) - unfortunately I can’t!!!

Apple consultants suggested I download all movies on external drive and then connect this drive to my TV - I tried with one movie but it just wouldn’t play on my TV!!!

back to present: I m in japan now and I have internet in my house - good strong internet but I just can’t access these movies - any of them!!!

I want SPPLE TO take all these movies back from me and refund me my money- I will use this credit to purchase BluRay DVD IN THE shop and get rid of this APPLE NONSENSE WITH their multiple accounts codes and numerous phone conversations- useless waste of my time

to add insult to injury - I have BluRay DVD PLAYER in my home here in japan!!!! So if I had physical DVD then I wouldn’t waste hours instead of just enjoying my movies

thank you very much for yr reply
