How can I set up Bigpond.com email on Macbook Pro

I have a new MacBook Pro. I am trying to add my Bigpond email account but I am getting an error message saying "Unable to verify account or password". The account and password I am entering are correct

General troubleshooting: If you can’t send or receive email on Mac - Apple Support


Here are the Telstra settings:


Old: https://www.telstra.com.au/support/email/imap-pop-smtp-mail-server-settings


New: https://www.telstra.com.au/support/email/imap-pop-smtp-mail-server-settings


Both indicate of those outgoing server authentication must be enabled.
