I recently bought a new phone and i forgot to remove my credit card from my previous phone, for some reason apple pay declines the purchases i make (if i pay with the physical card it works), i have contacted my bank and credit card company and they said there should be no problem, i deleted and added the card multiple times still the payments don’t go through.

Apple is not a bank and cannot approve or decline transactions. What is the exact message you see on the transaction terminal? Does it say declined? If not, what does it say?
Yes, if it actually says declined, it’s the bank. They will be able to see the approval request coming from the credit card processor.
yes it says transaction declined, so i should continue trying to resolve the problem through the credit card company ? does it have to do with the fact i bought a new phone maybe? i deleted the wallet app and restarted my phone and it still did not resolve the issue
