Combined sleep data in Health App

A few weeks ago when reviewing my sleep data I noticed that towards the end of my time asleep, instead of listing separate blocks of data for REM, Core and Deep sleep, it combined them all into one block. Has anyone else experienced this and/or know why this happens?

Health App stopped recording sleep data The Heath App sleep date area has been recording hours of sleep /time asleep for months. Suddenly since Nov 23rd it is not automatically recording sleep times. Nothing was changed in settings. I did have an Apple software update, but there is no app update available. Suggestions?

Sleep tracking on Health When going through my sleep data in each of the last six month, my avg. time asleep doesn’t go past 7hrs. Yet, when I switch to the last 6 months view my avg. sleep time is over 9 hours, which makes no sense. When I go to “Show More Sleep Data” and choose “amounts” instead of “stages” my avg. time asleep changes to around 6 hours, which makes much more sense. Is there a way to fix that? Thank you!

Yes, this happened to me as well. The Apple Watch seems to think that you have been awake and is then recording your sleep as a nap.

You can let Apple know directly about the fact, that this feature probably needs some more tweaking, by using the Feedback link:
