Ventura: dropbox not working, seeks unknown permission?

hi folks,

I'm on a 2020 iMac with the latest Ventura OS. At every bootup, Dropbox is asking me for some kind of "permission" requiring my mac logon, which I give, then it disappears. I'm actually not sure which system permission to turn on, to get rid of this regular nag.

There's one under PRIVACY & SECURITY > FULL DISK ACCESS, which I could grant. Another under APP MANAGEMENT (along with "DropboxMacUpdate), which allows "updating or deleting other applications", which is kind of questionable.

Also, DROPBOX is enabled under "ADDED EXTENSIONS" for "finder extensions" and "sharing", but there are no Dropbox options in the right-click context menu's.

Can anyone tell me (1) which permissions would help get rid of the Dropbox nag at bootup, and (2) which permissions are safe and necessary for Dropbox's function.

Much appreciated!
