How do I get a lower case letter on my iPad?
Trying to enter an access code and I am unable to enter a lower case letter”e”.

Do you have the caps lock engaged? Tap on the up arrow key in the lower left of the keyboard. What happens when you type in an app like Notes? Can you type both upper and lowercase letters?
It doesn't matter whether or not you have the keyboard set to show lowercase keys. That's just an aesthetic feature. In the past, iPad keyboards only showed upper-case letters and some people didn't like it. What matters it what shows in the text you're typing.
