Cannot turn on Facebook post notifications on iPhone 13.

I cannot turn on notifications on my iPhone 13 when someone comments in a Facebook group. It used to be that I would click on "..." in the upper right corner and I would get an option to "turn on notifications for this post." This still works on my laptop, but that option no longer appears on my phone. I have tried restarting my phone, signing out and back in to Facebook, deleting and reinstalling the Facebook app, and checked my notification settings for Facebook and my phone settings. I've tried all the suggestions I can find online. There are some posts that I really want to follow comments on, but I can't figure out how.

It’s also possible that Facebook didn’t update their app for the new iOS. Either way, contact Facebook Support, Apple shouldn’t have anything to do with this.

Perhaps this may be a Facebook issue that you will need to contact them for. Apple can only set whether or not you get notifications from an app, not certain types of notifications. That will need to be done in their app.

Thanks, Zachyy. I've looked up articles and tried everything they suggest, including going through the entire Facebook help section. Either I'm missing something or it isn't there. I came here as a last resort after trying every suggestion I could find.

The thing is we are an Apple technical forum, so your Facebook issues wouldn’t get much help here.
