Text messenger AI errors out on dictation

When I voice a text message on my IPhone 14 Max, the speech to text feature errors out and says “something went wrong try again.” Or it stops working half way through dictating and only does a partial message so I have to redo it multiple times. This happened after the latest update. I’ve tried reloading the software, updating the app, and still have the same issues.

Voice to Text works intermittently since iOS 18.1 Update I have an iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 18.1. I use voice-to-text on multiple messaging apps, including iMessage, Instagram, What's App and more. This feature will work for a couple of days. Then I notice that the microphone icon on the bottom right corner in iMessage will turn gray when you try to use it, and the feature won't work anymore. Also within iMessage, I can't do a voice recorded message within the text box. I have to reboot my phone to get the voice-to-text working. The microphone itself still works on a phone call. And it also works with the Voice Memos app. It's only voice-to-text that will suddenly stop working for no reason. I've tried going into the Settings/Privacy area for the Microphone and turning individual apps on/off for microphone access, but it doesn't work. Only a full reboot works. I talked to a few friends and they see this same problem. Anyone else? Any solutions?

Talk to text not working on my new iPhone 16 Pro Max My new 16 Pro Max has quit working. It worked fine for a few days, but now the microphone symbol acts like it hears me- but won’t puts words on my message. HELP [Re-Titled By Moderator]

Voice to text not working voice to text stopped working on my phone. Microphone is enabled. Voice control is enabled but notified me that it is not recording …all apps are enabled for voice. I can make a phone call and the microphone works and also voice recorder but voice to text does not work.
