Can a particular contact be blocked for a specified time on iPhone?

I have a question I hate to type but trying to find an answer. My autistic daughter likes to try and txt and FaceTime at like 6am before school. She lives with her mother and uses an iPad. She doesn’t have a phone number only an Apple ID. She does this to myself and my 80 year old mother. Is there a way to limit hours she can contact my mother. Obviously don’t want to block her but 8a-11p is reasonable. I use my dnd. But

my mother can’t do this because a lot of times it’s a doctors office so needs to be able to answer at like 7

I don’t think there’s a parental control that can block only a certain number when silenced. It sounds like a good idea, but the best place to suggest something to Apple is here→Product Feedback - Apple

This is a user-to-user forum, with minimal Apple participation.

Your mother can set up a Do Not Disturb that will block certain numbers when DND is enabled:

  • Tap Settings
  • Tap Focus
  • Tap on any Focus settings that you will never use and remove them (you can add them back later if you change your mind, and even create new, custom ones)
  • Tap Do Not Disturb
  • Tap People
  • Tap Silence Notifications From
  • List her contact
  • Tap the dropdown next to Allow Calls From and choose Allowed People Only
  • Optionally, tap on Apps, then Allow Notifications From and don’t add any apps.

All of the above is a one-time setup. After that, turn DND on or off with a quick tap on the Control Center DND button. You can optionally set one or more schedules by going to:

Settings/Focus/Do Not Disturb/Set a Schedule.
