Persistent “Something Went Wrong” Error on Ratings & Reviews Page in Apple Podcasts Connect

For over 4 weeks now, I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue on Apple Podcasts Connect. Whenever I click on the Ratings and Reviews page, instead of displaying my podcast’s ratings and reviews from all regions (a vital feature for podcasters), the page simply shows the message “something went wrong.”

I’ve reported this issue twice to Apple’s podcasting support team through the proper channels but have not received any reply, and the problem still persists.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

1. Accessing the page on two devices:

MacBook Pro with M3 Pro chip running the latest macOS.

iPhone 16 Pro running the latest iOS.

2. Using Safari on both devices, with all privacy protections both enabled and disabled.

3. Ensuring all software is up to date.

The Ratings and Reviews page worked fine on both devices prior to this issue. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any other way to view regional ratings and reviews, making this a huge inconvenience.

Is anyone else encountering this problem? Does anyone have a potential solution? Apple’s lack of response has made this even more frustrating, and I’d greatly appreciate any advice or shared experiences.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Thanks for the reply.

Mine has now been showing the exact same message as you have posted above, rather than the ‘something went wrong’ message.

In good news, I managed to get a response from Apple.

They have confirmed that their engineers are aware of the issue and are working hard to resolve it.

So, as frustrating as it is, at least the issue is known about and being worked on. Hopefully will be resolved soon!

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm happy to read that Apple is aware and working on it.

Here's the workaround I have found to check on new ratings & reviews in the meantime:

  1. Open a new Private Window in Safari or similar for any other browser
  2. Visit https://podcasts.apple.com
  3. Search for your podcast
  4. Scroll down at the bottom of your podcast page

You should get those for the US by default.

To check ratings & reviews from other countries:

  1. Click on the address bar before '/podcast'
  2. Replace 'us' with other country codes
    1. Canada = ca
    2. Great Britain = gb
    3. Australia = au
    4. France = fr
    5. Germany = de
  3. Refresh and scroll down

Hope it helps!

An update for those interested:

I reached out to Apple Podcast Support again, as it has now been over two months, and the issue persists.

They reiterated that they are aware of the problem and that engineers are working on a resolution—but there is still no ETA.

In the meantime, I’ve been using the workaround EasyTechLux provided above. While it’s not ideal, it gets the job done.

Happy podcasting!
