Apple Worldwide Warranty for iPhone purchased in Japan

I urgently need an answer!

How can I contact the service center regarding the phone warranty?

The phone was purchased in Japan, but I live in another country.

Do I need to send the phone to Japan for warranty repairs, or can I contact my country where I live?

How does Apple's Worldwide Warranty work now?

iPhones are region specific devices. It may be possible to get warranty service outside of the country of original sale, but if service requires replacement of the entire device or the main logic board, it’s unlikely as Apple stores and service providers don’t stock components for devices sold in other regions.

In some countries, it’s not possible to get even paid out of warranty service for a device from another country.

In all likelihood, it will have to go back to Japan for service. Note that Apple will not accept international shipments. You will have to take it to Japan yourself or send it to someone you know there and have them take it in for service.

Not sure if that is a question or a statement.

Try going to an actual Apple Store. You need to speak with the manager and see if they can find a solution for you. If you deal with somebody else they may just quote the warranty limitation to you. You want somebody who wants to make you a happy customer. You may then have to be willing to compromise, and also realize that if the problem is something where a part is not available then your only option is to go to a country where it is. iPhones come in regional models, working on different frequencies and sometimes with different features.
