Hi, I have a new iPhone 14. It’s about 6months old and around a month ago I noticed the power button starting to stick. I constantly clean it with alcohol wipes which work for a couple of hours but then I’m back to square one. It’s a nightmare when paying for anything with my phone as it wants me to double click but it gets stuck. I feel stupid at the checkout. Any help would be much appreciated.

It’s not a software issue, its cause is mechanical in nature. You stated your iPhone is fairly new. Does it have a warranty? If it does, any home remedy for the issue may void your warranty and result in an expensive repair for you. I’d consult the merchant that sold you the iPhone, first.
