Yes I see the message there says offline

There are different and multiple reasons why "Offline" will appear:

  • The battery has run down
  • The phone has been powered off
  • The phone does not have an Internet connection where it is located
  • The thief has placed the phone is a special type of bag that will not allow the phone to send or receive a signal

Unfortunately, you have no control over this. All that you can do is check a few times each day to see if the status of the phone has changed so the current location will be displayed.

Be very careful if you receive a message that the phone has been found. Apple will never send a message like this, so this is a scam that is trying to trick you into providing your Apple ID and Password.

Do not respond to any messages like this.

I am sorry, but stolen phones are almost never recovered because the thief will try to sell the phone as quickly as possible
