MacBook Pro screen flickering after accidental drop

I have had a my Mac for quite a few years now, recently when going to a class my backpack unzipped and my mac flew out of my bag and onto the concrete. Everything was fine only a few external dents, but a month later I have noticed the screen is beginning to flicker. I noticed it when watching videos, and my time won’t update on my mac and that started immediately after dropping it. I tried to brush it off, but it seems I cannot any longer. Will this be an easy fix or am I just looking at buying a whole new one? 🤦🏼‍♀️. (Reposting because I put it on the wrong apple community) (Please help guys, I start college in fall and need advice!)

Will this be an "easy fix"? That depends on how difficult it is for you to cough up the $ to have it repaired.

The computer must be evaluated for repair before you will know the cost. It may be an expensive lesson to learn about how to secure your belongings.
