How did you import it? From where? Where is the file supposed to be? Inside the library bundle? Were you copying to library on import or leaving it in place? Where is the file? Do a Finder search.
Copy the file to another folder, Desktop, Downloads, somewhere else and try to relink from there. If FCP doesn’t find it, point it to where it should look.
Eye of the Tiger shows the missing indicator. Where is this track stored? Is it from Apple Music? You can’t use that.
Did you copy the file to another location? Does that file play in the QuickTime Player? Can you post a screenshot with just the problem file selected?
> How did you import it?
probably drag and drop
> From where?
probably ~/Download/
> Where is the file supposed to be? Inside the library bundle? Were you copying to library on import or leaving it in place?
I usually leave file in place, so not in the library bundle
> Where is the file? Do a Finder search.
The file is in ~/Music
In the screenshot, we are looking for "movie folder". Please specify the correct location where the media is stored.
it show it is missing, I don't think it was originally located in Apple Music. right now the file is in my music folder but I can't select it in the linker tool, you can see it doesn't apprear.
it is not listed in the re-link windows no matter what I try. so I can't point FCP to it
in the screenshot 3 files are selected but only 2 appears in the relink window
the original file is located in ~/Music
