Final Cut Pro Event format

I try to open files in Final Cut and I get an error - Final Cut Pro cannot open files in event format, what can i do please?

Final cut pro immediately crashes and event is corrupt HI. I had Final Cut pro crash on me today (happened many times before but no big deal). I'm using the latest version and now whenever I open Final Cut Pro it immdiately crashes. I've restarted the computer, deleted render / transcoded media, updated apps and operating system. I'm stuck. I need to find a way to save my library. I know the specific project that caused that corruption but can somebody PLEASE help me save this project library? I've got 5 years of work on it and need help. Thank you .

Export error in FCP when trying export a new project So every time I create a video on FCP, I have no issue exporting the main clip in 4K Issues always occur when I create a new project and copy some parts of the media from the previous project and turn it into reels/shorts format I tried deleting/replacing sections of the error frame but the issue is not solved. not sure if its about certain settings or what not

Export has failed on Final Cut Pro I opened a project that I completed about two months ago so I could export another finished file. I already did this last month when I finished the project. But today, I get a FAILED message. Nothing in the project has changed, I made no other edits, etc. Can someone tell me what this FAILED MESSAGE means? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Event files?!!! What is the file extension?

The FCP files are called Libraries and have file extension .fcpbundle

Files with .fcpevent should not be handled directly.

Please explain how you came to these files so we can better advise. Are these from very old pre 10.1 version (circa 2013)?

The event format may also be a very old file format, 2013 or earlier. It can only be accessed with old versions of the software and OS.
