Export has failed on Final Cut Pro

I opened a project that I completed about two months ago so I could export another finished file. I already did this last month when I finished the project. But today, I get a FAILED message. Nothing in the project has changed, I made no other edits, etc.

Can someone tell me what this FAILED MESSAGE means?

Try deleting your render cache. Select the library in the browser, choose File->Delete Generated Library Files... Choose All Render files.

Although they're reported as not loaded, you have Google's keystone software installed which is known to cause problems with the video toolbox and FCP. Follow the instructions at https://chromeisbad.com to completely remove Chrome and all the associated keystone software. It's not enough to simply trash Chrome.app, you have to remove all the files that Google scatters across your disk. Once they're removed, reinstall FCP.

THAT sounds like the correct fix for this issue...

As I worked thru the error messages to the specific frame number I would try to export and I'd get a new error and new frame number.

SO, I tried following your instructions but cant find "Delete Generated Library Files... Choose All Render files"

When you say "Select the Library in the Browser" do I get there by double clicking on the MAC icon on the desktop? Sorry for such a stupid question, but in all my years of MAC usage, I've never encountered the term BROWSER. see below.

Okay got it.

So I've deleted all the temp file and cashe.

Unfortunately, the problem is still here.

It's like my project file be corrupted somehow.

Every time I try to export it, I get a different frame number error message.

I'm noticing now too that I've got what appears to be GPU issues.

The play back in the various clips have flashes and "static".

In the Timeline one of the clips has a GREEN segment.

I dont know what has happened. Ive tried eliminating the clip segment at the problem frame number, only to have a new error message with a different frame number when I go to export.

Tom:

Youre suggestion of "etrecheck" is a tad confusing for me to pull-off.

Can I ask you something else?

I bought this version of FCPX in December 2023 and installed it on my M1 Macmini (OS 13.6.3).

Everything was working fine.

My last function on this particular project was to export the 2:43 video as an .Mp4 file.

Did not open the file nor FCP since then, three weeks ago.

I opened the file yesterday and nothing but export errors, green video frames and glitchy frames.

If I delete the FCPX program and all its elements, will Apple allow me to download it again?

Thanx
